The already established brand of Thermomax solar vacuum tubes was aquired by Kingspan in the summer of 2007. The Thermomax product consists of direct flow and heat pipe technology vacuum tubes. Both provide a very efficient solution to domestic or commercial solar water heating demands. McDonald EngineersMcDonald Engineers are based in Glenrothes. They are copper cylinder manufacturers.Copper is one of the most efficient conductors of heat. It has a thermal conductivity that is 28 times greater than stainless steel. Solar water heating systems require highly efficient coils to transfer their energy into hot water and copper maximises this heat transfer. McDonald Engineers offer a range of standard cylinder sizes and volumes but if your installation requires a specific size then this can be catered for. Secon SolarSecon Solar are based in Sunderland.
